Apparently, someone is searching for Rule #8 from The House of God (They can always hurt you more.) I decided to put that phrase into Google myself, and ran into this blog(?).

The entry on the top (written nearly a year ago) is kind of eerie, echoing a lot of sentiments that I've felt or thought sometime or another in my life. Like, the whole writing thing. (If I'd have heard of Hunter S. Thompson before I reapplied to med school, I might today be a hardcore pothead, sodden by rum, trying to scratch together an article as I lay on the sands of San Juan in Puerto Rico.) Or the whole failed relationship thing. Or my penchant for becoming easily infatuated with women who are, for one reason or another, unavailable.

Well, John Wheeler's idea was that the reason why every electron has the same mass, charge, and spin is that it's really just the same electron bouncing back and forth throughout time.

Maybe be Wheeler's idea applies to physicians as well?
