More Poems; The Seven Dwarves; Sleep
OK, I finished re-laying out the Inventory section and Colors of Time section of my poetry. For some reason, I become temporarily obsessed with finding the names of the Seven Sons of Mimir (a Norse god, who among other things, was a poet). They could also be the Seven Founding Fathers of the Race of Dwarves (as according to J.R.R. Tolkien) and could be the real names of the Seven Dwarves from Snow White. (One of the Seven Sons of Mimir is named Dwalin, which could roughly be translated into Sleepy) Here are some sites about Dwarves: Dwarf names and their origins, Names in Middle Earth TW, and The Voluspa which is a section of the Elder Edda that lists some of the names Tolkien used for Finally, I stumbled upon a random article that suggests that sleeping is necessary for learning, which I think sufficiently explains why I need nine to twelve hours of sleep a day.
