All Saints
Last night in Hollywood I saw more public nudity than I did in South Beach, Florida (which if you didn't know is apparently the unfettered breast capital of the U.S.) Which might just very well illustrate the occult powers of ex-girlfriends. I am also wondering if this is an appropriate forum to discuss testicular masses and their importance, so I will leave it at that. (But if I really did have a third nut, then it may very explain all the problems I'm having....) Too much information, I'm sure. The things that pop out of my head when I'm on vacation. I watched "K-PAX" last night with my dad, and I don't know if being in med school ruins my experience with medically related movies (witness my demented observations regarding "From Hell"), or if it enhances it. I'm pretty confident that I won't give anything away that you wouldn't already seen in the trailers, but the first thing that popped into my head was: Why aren't they ordering ECT? And what kind of psychiatrist keeps giving thorazine when it clearly isn't working? And I thought hypnosis went out of style a long time ago.... Then again, you've got to wonder about some of the things they teach us in clinical neuroscience.... But what a turn around. When I first started this blog, I had just watched "Requiem for a Dream" and felt very strongly against ECT. (Did you know that it is the most commonly ordered surgical procedure, far outstripping both tonsillectomies and hernia repairs?) Now I think it is a wondrous thing. Just as long as you keep those electrodes away from me. <<reverse | forward>> | index | beginning |
