Like the Weather

And just when you think it's all over, the sun comes up again, and everything looks different.

So maybe you do get struck by lightning every once in a while. It's improbable, but the probability is surely finite.

But hope is a very slippery fish.

In any case my mood has swung around faster than you can say "manic-depression" and I can't help but wonder if I'm eventually going to go insane.

The leaves are turning colors and falling, falling, and the sky lights up differently now. I don't know whether it's just because cold air transmits sunlight differently from warm air, or if it's just the subtle effect of the earth's axial tilt, or if my damage has been brained, but I can't help but feel like anything is possible.
